This has been a wonderful week! We didn't have a whole ton of stuff set up, so we were mostly out talking to people. And we talked to a lot of people. You've got to take advantage of the large population in Stockholm. :) Some of the highlights though were a specialized zone training where President & Sister Beckstrand and the assistants taught us about using our time wisely. President led out with the story of Vince Lombardi and "getting back to the basics." It felt like it was definitely something we needed to hear. The assistants focused more on planning, and using both planning time, and the time we plan for effectively. Then Sister Beckstrand closed it off with a reminder to stay focused. And to focus on the right things too. Keep our eye single to the glory of God.
We also had stake conference which was another great meeting. I got to meet up with some old friends from Gävle, and one of them even spoke. That was fun. Elder Paul V. Johnson of the Seventy was there. He taught us about light and darkness. It was a very inspiring message which helped with a few questions people I am teaching have. Another big theme from the conference was agency, and choosing actively to follow Christ and do good things.
We've been teaching one guy who is getting baptized on the 21st of May. He's very positive, and keeps every commitment. Everything is still looking good for the 21st. We have a few others who are also progressing well, and it's such a blessing to see how much the gospel blesses their lives.
Mvh,
